News doesn't happen in one language. A port closure is reported first in local language, an election turns on regional press, a crisis breaks in a language you may not read. NewsAgent Data was built for that reality: coverage across more than 200 countries and territories and 50+ languages — through one API and one feed.

The languages we cover

The core of the platform is deep Russian and English coverage — the two languages where every article is fully enriched. Around that core we cover, among others: Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Swedish, Ukrainian and Chinese, plus dozens more languages tagged at the source level across every region — Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Language and country are separate axes

A common trap in news data is treating language as a proxy for country. It isn't: Spanish is spoken in 20+ countries, English is published everywhere, and Russian-language media operate far outside Russia. So every record we serve carries both a language field and separate country_tags. You can ask for Spanish-language news from Mexico, all coverage of Argentina regardless of language, or worldwide coverage of one topic in every language at once.

Honest depth, not checkbox coverage

We don't claim every language is enriched equally, and we think that honesty matters more than a long marketing list. Russian and English get the full treatment — urgency scoring, classification, topic and audience tagging, event clustering. Other languages are covered, tagged and filterable, with enrichment expanding over time. Your language counts stay clean, and our filters mean what they say.
