Introducing the Live News Feed: breaking stories, readable pages

Today we're opening a new door into NewsAgent Data: a public live news feed at newsagentdata.com/news/ (English) and newsagentdata.ru/news/ (Russian). No account, no API key — just the most urgent stories of the moment, as they break.

What the feed is

Every article that flows through NewsAgent Data receives an urgency score. The live feed publishes the top of that stream — only stories that clear a high urgency bar — roughly every minute or two. Each item shows its source, topic and time, includes an image when one is available, and opens into a clean full-text page with a permanent URL you can share or bookmark.

Two editions live side by side: the English feed on newsagentdata.com/news/ and the Russian feed on newsagentdata.ru/news/. Same engine, same bar for urgency — different languages.

How it differs from news.newsagentdata.com

If you've seen news.newsagentdata.com, that's our live monitor — a dense real-time dashboard that shows the scoring pipeline at work: raw volume, scores ticking by, the stream as the system sees it. It's built for watching the machine.

The new /news/ feed is built for reading. It keeps only the most urgent fraction of that stream, presents it as a calm, familiar news page — headline, summary, full text, image — and gives every story a stable page that stays available after the moment has passed. The monitor answers "what is the system seeing right now?"; the feed answers "what should I actually read right now?"

Why we made it public

The API has always been the product. But an urgency score is easier to believe when you can see it working. The feed is the simplest possible demonstration: open the page, watch the top of the stream update, and judge for yourself whether the right stories are surfacing.
