LUBBOCK, Texas — A Texas federal court denied Texas Tech’s motion to dismiss a student’s Title IX lawsuit, finding she plausibly alleged the university acted with “deliberate indifference” by prolonging her rape investigation, coercing her into an informal resolution and maintaining broader systemic policies that create a heightened risk of sexual assault on campus.
