Terms of Service

1. The Service

NewsAgentData provides a news intelligence API ("the API"), a public news web reader (news.newsagentdata.com), and a Telegram breaking-news bot (@n3ws_agentbot). The API indexes publicly available news articles and Telegram channel posts, enriches them with metadata (urgency scores, topic tags, country tags, political lean), and makes them accessible via REST endpoints.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts to use the paid API tiers. The free demo tier and public web reader are available without registration.

3. API Keys and Account

• API keys are issued per user and must not be shared, resold, or embedded in public client-side code.
• You are responsible for all activity under your API key. Report suspected compromise to [email protected] immediately.
• Demo keys are limited to 100 requests/day and 7 days of article history. Usage beyond the demo tier requires a paid plan.
• We reserve the right to revoke keys that violate these terms without refund.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use the API to build applications, conduct research, power dashboards, or feed analytical pipelines. You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute raw API data as a standalone data product without prior written agreement
• Use the service to train or fine-tune AI/ML models for redistribution without prior written agreement
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or bypass rate limits or authentication
• Use the service for any illegal purpose or to facilitate harm
• Represent NewsAgentData data as your own original reporting or analysis

5. Rate Limits and Quotas

Each tier has a daily request quota and a burst limit of 60 requests per minute. Exceeding the quota returns HTTP 429. Persistent abuse of rate limits may result in key suspension.

• Demo: 100 req/day, 7-day history
• Starter ($99/mo): 10,000 req/day, 7-day history
• Standard ($499/mo): 100,000 req/day, 90-day history, webhook push
• Pro ($1,499/mo): Unlimited requests, full history
• Enterprise: Custom — contact us

6. Payment and Refunds

• Paid plans are billed monthly. Payment is accepted via cryptocurrency (USDT, TON, ETH, SOL) or by arrangement.
• Subscriptions do not auto-renew — you pay manually each period.
• Refunds are available within 7 days of payment if the service did not perform as described. Contact [email protected].
• No refund is issued for voluntary cancellation after 7 days or for quota overages caused by your own usage.

7. Data and Content

Articles indexed by NewsAgentData are collected from publicly available RSS feeds and public Telegram channels. We do not claim copyright over third-party article content. Source attribution (publisher name, original URL) is included in every API response — you must preserve this attribution when displaying content.

Metadata produced by NewsAgentData (urgency scores, topic tags, clustering, political lean classifications) is our own work product. You may use it within the bounds of these terms.

8. Uptime and SLA

We target 99%+ uptime but do not guarantee it. The service is provided on a best-effort basis. Planned maintenance will be announced via the Telegram channel @n3wsagent where possible. We are not liable for damages caused by downtime or data gaps.

9. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

NewsAgentData aggregates publicly available information. We do not verify the factual accuracy of individual articles. Urgency scores and classifications are algorithmic — they are signals, not editorial judgments. Do not make high-stakes decisions based solely on this data without independent verification.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, non-payment, or abuse. Termination does not entitle you to a refund beyond the 7-day window.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NewsAgentData is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to trading losses, business interruptions, or decisions made based on API data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Active subscribers will be notified by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
